I'm forwarding a message from Henrique Andrade, minus its PNG
attachment which was too big. (Thanks, Henrique, I'll take a
look at the points you mention.)

On OS X 10.6.8, at least, it fixes some (not all) of the
issues mentioned by Henrique and Berend. Among other things,
there's support for the R shared library and there's a
window listing under the top-level Mac Window menu. Some of
the keyboard accelerators are better than before.
1. Open scripts inside folders with accented filenames (e.g.
"grétel") gives the error:
Invalid byte sequence in conversion input
/Users/henrique/Desktop/Grétel/teste.inp: Illegal byte
sequence
2. Open the Preferences menu via "File -> Preferences" lasts
much more time than the "traditional" way.
3. Double-clicking to open scripts and session files is
working fine.
4. The option to open new Gretl instances is great.
5. The "Window" menu entry is not updating the list of open
windows even they are already closed (take a look at the
attached file).
Best regards,
