New subject: rmplot
The command 'rmplot' is defined only for the GUI. I think it would be
very good if we could use it also in scripts. I think the result should
be no more than the current text output, and the t statistic and pvalue
could be saved in th $test and $pvalue variables.

Hi,
patch works (as a patch, I've not checked if --silent option works).
Just save file "silent_restrict.diff" in gretl source root directory and
run: "patch -p0 <silent_restrict.diff"
