Hi Dr.Guilherme, Adding the --with-gtk-3 option does not work although I have libgtk-3 installed along with its dev package. On the other hand, I was able to compile and run the GUI program after installing libgtk2.0-dev and libgtksourceview2.0. Everything looks OK now. Thanks very much for your help.
