This has only been recently documented, I guess you need to upgrade your
gretl version. I see it in the snapshot from May 10th.
Uhm, weird. It's in the online help but not in the pdf Reference. That's
weird, the pdf file should get updated automatically. I'll try to find
some time later today to see what's going on.

better numerical method than bisection):
