The main purpose would be for developers to quickly exchange info, or
arrange meetings in real time communication.
It can also be used by the general community, sometimes a quick pointing to
a documentation reference would save time. Hopefully, people would help
each other.
You can create private channels that only invited members can join.
Other example could be the sharing of scripts and disvussion on their
improvements in a real time manner, so they may be latter posted or
published in a reviewed version.
