C:\Program Files\R\R-3.4.2\bin\x64\Rgui.exe
Was
C:\Program Files\R\R-3.4.1\bin\R.exe
Became and not detected
C:\Program Files\R\R-3.4.2\bin\R.exe
As I know for past 5 years it is the same:
root \R
and \R\R-3.1.1 and so on

As a matter of interest, how do the paths to R.exe and the R library
differ between R 3.4.2 and your previous version?
In the past I have found these paths unstable and hard to determine.
