[Gretl-devel] kalman detail question

Hi, don't have time to dig through the Kalman documentation right now; is it supported or expected that a user could use kdsmooth() without doing kfilter() first? Claude AI claims that some settings are ignored when you don't have kfilter, so the question is whether the ignoring part is a bug, or whether the omission of kfilter should be banned (or whether the claim is wrong). thanks sven
