I’ve tried the latest snapshot, titled with gretl 1.9.15cvs Mac OS X(quartz, x86_64) build date 2014-04-14. I regret to inform you that when I copy a model table as RTF, I cannot paste it on MS Word. The paste command on the menu bar is inactive. When I push the shortcut key for paste on Word, nothing happens.

The version of my Word is Word for Mac 2011 version 14.4.1(140326).

I regret that I am sending many emails.

However, I found that when I copy a model table as RTF and replace yen signs, ¥, in the paste board with back slashes by running the following command on Terminal pbpaste | sed 's/\¥/\\/g' | pbcopy then I can paste a model table as RTF into Word. I hope that it helps you.

This should enable us to see if the second byte as emitted by gretl is 0x5C or 0x5A.

I tried copying RTF with the current snapshot. The dialog box showed gretl_clipboard_set, first 5 bytes: 0x7b 0x5c 0x72 0x74 0x66

I tried the latest snapshot. When I copied as RTF, I unfortunately encountered an error: gretl: error Couldn't open pbcopy

I think that the locale that pbcopy refers to is CFUserTextEncoding [...]

However, when I copied a model table as RTF, the table was pasted as a source of RTF.

Dear Allin First, I would like to inform you that I have solved the problem. 1.I removed ~/.CFUserTextEncoding with "rm" command on terminal. 2. I rebooted my mac. 3. The trouble was solved. Now, copying as RTF in gretl (the latest snapshot) is working as expected. Removal of .CFUserTextEncoding has not caused any trouble so far.

Finally, I would like to translate the resources of gretl to Japanese. Do you have any instructions for translators?
